Welcome

Welcome to Blair Athol. Established in 1882, our ranch has stood the test of time. We are located on the original homestead 4 miles west and 3 miles north of Arcola. Blair Athol has always been a mixed cattle and grain farm but in the mid 1990's we shifted production to solely raising Hereford cattle. 2024 marks our 114th consecutive year of registering purebred Hereford cattle. Our ranch is now in its sixth generation of Lees and the future looks bright for generations to come.

We breed approximately 250 cows per year both polled and horned. Our annual female sale is one of the highlights of the fall sale run in Canada. Many great bulls and females have sold in the Blair-Athol Haroldson's and Friends Production Sale. Thank you to everyone that joined us at our Blair-Athol/Haroldson's and Friends Sale on October 15, 2023! We'd also like for you to plan to be with us for our 20th Annual Wilson/Lees Bull Sale on March 29, 2024, and our Blair-Athol/Haroldson's and Friends Sale on October 20, 2024!

We live and breathe Hereford and are proud to have been recognized as the 2009 Canadian Western Agribition Premier Breeder at the National Hereford Show. Additionally, we were honored as the 2023 Edmonton International Farm Fair Premier Breeder.

Visitors are always welcome at Blair Athol at the base of the scenic Moose Mountains. Plan to visit anytime.
